The United States is facing a looming healthcare crisis—and it’s not just about hospital beds or rising costs. The real crisis lies in staffing. With the number of Americans aged 65 and older expected to nearly double by 2060, the demand for long-term care and nursing home staff is at an all-time high. Yet, the supply of qualified nurses continues to shrink.

Last month, I had the chance to visit one of my childhood friends in Salt Lake City. We’ve known each other since we were kids from riding bikes around the neighborhood, to capture the flag to sharing our earliest entrepreneurial endeavors in our early twenties.
